Welcome to Willow International School! We are proud of our dedicated, experienced staff and enthusiastic learners. As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we all need to work together to ensure that our children reach their potential. We believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to ensure success for all our students. We believe that it is everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful and responsible. We truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of Willow International School. Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and the community.
All children are more successful when we work together as a team to achieve educational goals. Our mission is to use our proven, results-based educational model to give all children the opportunity to attend university and succeed. We do this in so many ways, such as innovative classroom practices, personalized education, a longer school day and year, home visits, and a strong community engagement. Our schools also give our students a competitive advantage in the global workforce by devoting more instructional time to Maths and Science Education every day. Each year, our schools have more and more to celebrate. Our students are winning in regional and international Olympiads. These achievements are no coincidence. They are the direct results of the high standards we hold for our teachers and staff and that they, in turn, hold for their students. There is always room for improvement and growth, and we continue to set the bar higher every year. At WIS, we have a holistic approach towards education. I also believe that education is a shared responsibility and that the successful operation of any school depends on the cooperation of all involved: parents, pupils and staff. Therefore, I would like to extend a personal invitation to all our students and their parents to become active members of our school community, and join us as we embark on this journey, starting our own tradition of excellence, and together we will create a school culture built on success, respect and accountability. Just as education, extra-curricular activities and the development of body movements are important, so is music. We have many activities for our students to participate in as extra-curricular activities, so please encourage your child to take part.
