Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive biology lessons in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore and question concepts in biology.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely feedback to students and collaborate with parents to support student learning and development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license in Secondary Education (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching biology at the secondary level, preferably within a Cambridge or international curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum framework and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
